“I am Brother Reginald Dudley, current Chaplain for the State of Florida, “The State of Brotherhood.” I had the pleasure to serve with Brother Reuben Grant on the Florida State Board for four years as he served as the State Director. Brother Grant consistently exhibited exceptional leadership qualities that epitomized the word “Servant Leader.” Brother Grant ensured the members were informed on issues, operated in transparency, and handled disagreements in a fair and brotherly manner.
For me, the two monumental accomplishments I witnessed firsthand while Brother Grant was State Director was the implementation of our Florida NPHC License Plate. This project was years in the making and he carried the torch from past administration to ensure that our voices were heard and we, along with representatives from the Divine Nine, were successful in our endeavors. Without his leadership and tenacity in marketing efforts, we would not have been successful in securing our state tag.
Further, Brother Grant’s leadership efforts were paramount to the growth of the membership during his tenure in the State of Florida. Our membership has grown in numbers as well as in morale. We consistently rival the best in the region as well as in the Fraternity as a whole.

Grant endeavors to become our next 1st Vice Regional Director of the Southern Region, I truly believe that he represents Proverbs 27:17 when it comes to our Brotherhood, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” I wholeheartedly support and believe that he is the best candidate for 1st Vice Regional Director of the Southern Region.”
